IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO -- Wanda Louise Reynolds, 91, passed away March 13, 2010, at The Good Samaritan Society, Idaho Falls Village.
She was born March 10, 1919, in Twin Groves, Idaho, to Oriah Helm and Elsie Matilda Busby Helm. She grew up and attended school in Twin Groves and St. Anthony.
In 1940, Wanda married Von Reynolds in Dubois, Idaho. They were blessed with three sons. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Wanda and Von lived for 25 years in Idaho Falls and raised their boys. In 1963, they moved to Anchorage, Alaska. In 1967, they moved to Challis, Idaho, and back to Idaho Falls in 1992.
Survivors include her sons, Roy Reynolds (Mon’nette) of Idaho Falls; Vic Reynolds (Ann) of Wayne, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Karan Reynolds of Idaho Falls; sister, Vaudus Winters; grandchildren, Jason Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Cassidy Reynolds, Sarah Reynolds, Julie Reynolds and Zachary Reynolds; Michael Bell, Bart Bell and Jeff Bell. Thirteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Moser; four sisters, Delpha, Veva, Naomi, and Marcia; a son, Steve Reynolds; and a granddaughter, Jennifer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will meet with friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to The Good Samaritan Village, 840 East Elva, Idaho Falls, ID 83401
