Victor Paul (Vic) Gentle

Husband, Father and Grandfather, Victor Gentle’s love of life, family and sport didn’t come to an end with his death. Vic passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on June 22, 2022, in Idaho Falls Community Hospital at the age of 61 after a short courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. 
 
Born June 27, 1960, to Jay David Gentle and Margaret Bernston Gentle. Earned his high school degree at Skyline High School and followed at University of Alaska. 

The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Vic. Long jeep rides through the mountains. Teaching the kids how to build dams at Birch Creek. Countless years coaching his children in sports. Vic judged his life by the little moments that seem to come and go all too quickly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Gentle; mother and father-in-law, Wendell and Verona Rudd, and daughter, Audra. 

Vic is survived by his wife, Sheila Gentle; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Wayne Rojas; sons and daughter-in-law's, Jake and Caitlin Gentle, Cameron and Taryn Gentle; mother, Margaret Gentle; a brother, Dan Gentle; grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Rojas, and Audrey and June Gentle. 

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, at the Brickyard Event Center, 1025 S. Ammon Rd, Ammon, ID 83406.
