Victor Earl Bruun, 75, of Ammon, passed away July 25, 2020, at his home. He was under the care of OneSource Home Health and Hospice and his loving family.
Victor was born on May 8, 1945, on V.E. Day (Victory over Europe during WWII) hence his initials V.E. He was born in Ironwood, Michigan, to Louis Theodore Bruun and Dora Mary Lawver Bruun. He grew up and attended schools in Park Falls, Wisconsin. Following high school, Victor served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. While serving he earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal.
On November 12, 1977, he married Terryl Lois Boswell Bruun in Las Vegas, Nevada. Victor and Terryl made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Victor worked at School District 93 doing building maintenance.
He was a handyman and could fix anything. Victor was a friend to everyone. He loved talking with people and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Victor is survived by his wife, Terryl Bruun of Ammon, ID; son, Jason (Janine) Fuller of Ammon, ID; son, Cory Bruun of Ammon, ID; son, Taylor (Norelle) Bruun of Boise, ID; sister, Louise Hederer of Spencer, WI; brother, John Bruun of Neenah, WI; mother-in-law, Jacque Stringer of Goshen, ID; grandson, Sean and great grandson, Auron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeremy Dale Bruun; brother, James Earl Bruun, in-laws, Dody and Leonard Boswell and father-in-law, Dale Foster.
Private family services will be held at later date.
