Vic Rigoulot

William Victor "Vic" Rigoulot, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 1, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of OneSource Home Health and Hospice and his loving family. Vic was known by all his grandkids as "Grandpa Hamer". He was born November 17, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Francis Rigoulot and Bobbygene Potter Rigoulot. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On January 30, 1962, he married Kathy Hymas in Pocatello, Idaho. To this union were born four children, Jolee, Tracy, Trina and Travis. Vic and Kathy made their home in Hamer and most recently, Idaho Falls. Vic worked as a mechanic at many farms and ranches in Hamer and Newdale, Idaho. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Vic was the best mechanic, farmer and inventor. He could fix anything and enjoyed camping. Vic loved to buy and sell cars, and most of all, he loved being a grandfather. Vic is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathy; daughter, Jolee (Russ Hoopes) Scheer of Lewisville, ID; daughter, Trina (Zach) Batte of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jim (Linda (deceased)) Rigoulot of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jean (Kent) Landon of Rigby, ID; sister, Judy (Brad) Price of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Nancy (Rick) Perry of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Brenda (Dee) Killian of Idaho Falls, ID; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Bobbygene Rigoulot, daughter, Tracy Rigoulot and son, Travis Rigoulot. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 5, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Road). The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m., both visitations at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Camp Magical Moments, P.O. Box 12, Swan Valley, ID 83449.
