VERN GRAY
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Vern Glenn Gray, 91, of Idaho Falls, died February 2, 2009, at his niece’s home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
He was born January 3, 1918, in Lincoln, Idaho, to Arch Charlie Gray and Theone Pulley Gray. He attended schools in Osgood.
He married Phyllis Joan Montague on September 29, 1949 in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He worked as an animal care taker at Tautphaus Park Zoo.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a High Priest.
He enjoyed working with animals.

Sister: Dorothy Hunsaker, Tenino, WA
22 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and Archie; four brothers, Wayne, Tate, Ivan, Dee; and one sister, Ruby Andersen.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2009, at the Grant-Central Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, prior to proceeding to the cemetery.
