Terry Lynn Boyle, 70, of Ammon, passed away September 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Terry was born February 25, 1952, in Del Norte, Colorado, to Benjamin John Boyle and Margie Laverne Eaton Boyle. He grew up on Holley Street and attended schools in Shelley, graduating from Shelley High School in 1970.
In 1971, he married Debbie Bronson. They lived in Shelley where they raised their four boys, Clint, Travis, Derek, and Shawn.
He later married Sandy Lynn Olson. Terry and Sandy made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Terry worked in construction.
Terry was very intelligent and a man of many trades. Throughout his life, neighbors, friends, and family would look to him for help with automotive and home repairs. He could fix anything. He was an accomplished welder and a member of the Pipe Fitters Union.
Terry was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Later in life, he loved spending his summers with Sandy and family in Island Park.
He had a sweet tooth and his grandkids always knew where to go to get a handful of candy from Grandpa.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Sandy Boyle of Ammon, ID; sons, Clinton (Summer) Boyle of Idaho Falls, Travis (Christine) Boyle of Idaho Falls, Derek (Rachael) Boyle of Henderson, NV, and Shawn (Chelsie) Boyle of Idaho Falls; stepson, Chris (Jane) Charnock of Idaho Falls; mother, Margie Boyle; brothers, Mark (Cindie) Boyle, Benjamin (Jan) Boyle, and Richard (Kris) Boyle; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Boyle; grandparents; and niece, Melissa.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
