Susan Ilene Lynn, 62, of Pinedale, Wyoming, passed away November 28, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Susan was born April 24, 1958, in Mitchell, South Dakota, to Vern Jacobmeier and Doris Phillips Jacobmeier. She grew up and attended schools in Wayne, Nebraska, and graduated with a bachelor’s and master's degree from University of Washington.

Susan spent over 20 years serving in the United States Navy where she retired as a Commander. She had a zest for living life to the fullest, and spent as much time as she could traveling the world and being active hiking and climbing mountains.

Susan is survived by her loving children, JoAna Cavanagh of Denver, CO, Kim Brown of Niagara Falls, Canada, and Michael Lynn of Monument, CO; mother, Doris Jacobmeier of Lincoln NE; grandchildren, Katie Cavanagh, Emma Cavanagh, Jack Cavanagh, Luke Lynn and Lance Lynn; brothers, Jon Jacobmeier of Bellevue, NE, Bill Hammond of Colorado Springs, CO, and Bob Hammond of CO; sisters, Sandy Nicholes of Coalville, UT, and Stacy Ciechomske of St. Clairsville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vern Jacobmeier.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
