Susan C. (Criddle) Leonard

Susan Criddle Leonard, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 8, 2021, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.

Susan was born October 2, 1952, in Malad, Idaho, to Jesse Wayne Criddle and Donna Marie Field. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, ID, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Ricks College in Rexburg.

She met her forever sweetheart, Earl Leonard, at a church singles dance. The couple were married on October 9, 1999, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A joyous occasion occurred on May 20, 2006, when the couple was sealed in the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple. They shared a happy life filled with love and surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting, crochet, dancing, fishing with Earl, family history, and spending time with her family.

Susan is survived by her children, Martha D. Cross of Savannah, GA, Maria D. (Randy) Weeks of Kuna, ID, and Matthew D. (Kourtney Crossley) Jarvis of Idaho Falls, ID; her mother, Donna Field; sister, Sandy Criddle of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Scott (Mary) Criddle of Ammon, ID; twelve grandchildren (Gary, JC, Tatiana (Shawn), Keeley (Kyle), Quenten, Teya, Camren, Ethan, Anden, Zadan, Beau, Konner); and one great-grandchild, DJ, with two on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father, and great granddaughter, Lydia Storer.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Idaho Falls Central Stake Center, 2025 Jennie Lee Dr., with Bishop Tad Sakata officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
