Steven Ball Obituary

Steven Ray Ball, 51, of Ammon, passed away February 16, 2022, at his home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice and his loving family.

Steve was born March 12, 1970, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Reynold George Ball and Bonnie Carol Ball. He attended school at Rigby High.

Steve was blessed with three children, Franki, Zackari, and Kirsi. On September 19, 2019, he married Lucy Marie Avelar. They made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Steve worked making knives for Schenk Knives.

Steve had a true love for adventure and the outdoors. He enjoyed mountain biking, dirt biking, rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking, and camping. When he wasn’t in the great outdoors, he enjoyed spending time in his beloved shop creating things for the ones he loved. Steve was an incredible husband, father, son, and brother to those in his life, and he will be greatly missed.
Steve is survived by his mother, Bonnie Carol Ball; his loving wife, Lucy Marie Ball; his brother, “Reynold” David Ball; his sons, Franki Dean Ball (McKinna) and Zackari Nelson Ball (Pamela); and his daughter, Kirsi Diette Ball (Jaklen); his grandchildren, Elyjiah and Emily; as well as his step children, Alyssa Lin Stoker and Desmund Steelie James.

He is preceded in death by his father, Reynold George Ball.
