Rosalyn Wallace Hahn was born to parents Eva and Orval Wallace December, 28, 1956, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the third child of nine and the first girl of the family. Growing up life was full of adventures on the family dairy farm. With plenty of land around she would ride bikes, swim, cultivate her art talents, read books, books, and more books.
Rose attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID where she met her husband Thomas Hahn. Thom swept her off her feet with his grand ball room dancing skills. After a short courtship they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Rose and Thom went on to have 5 children over the course of 10 years.
Rose found her life calling in health care as a CNA. She loved her work caring for adults with disabilities. Her compassion and empathy made her the best at what she did, and her clients loved her dearly.
Life presented many struggles in her short time. She battled cancer on three separate occasions, lost her husband, and one of her daughters. Through this, people will remember her as a person with a sensitive soul, unwavering faith, and unimaginable strength. Always finding the light or bringing the light to any situation with her smile.
Surrounded by her family at home, on May 30, 2021, Rose surrendered her soul to her Savior after a difficult battle with her third cancer diagnosis. She found peace in the last days knowing she would be reunited with her family again through her lifelong faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. She is survived by her daughters Angela “Mary” Hahn (Joe Callison), Noel “Nicole” Roberts (Michael Roberts), April Rhodes (Seth Rhodes), Holly Hahn (Chris Cappelletti), 11 grandchildren (one more on the way), and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Eva and Orval Wallace, sister Jean Infanger, nephew David Wallace, husband Thomas Hahn, and daughter Star Hahn.
A funeral will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 1235 Juniper Dr. Idaho Falls, Idaho, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
