Roger Morgan, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 25, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Roger was born December 25, 1946, in Minidoka County, Idaho, to Warren Courtney Morgan and Opal Winnett Morgan. He grew up and attended schools in Rupert, Idaho, and graduated from Minidoka High School. He went on to attend Twin Falls Business College.
On January 1, 1986, he married Meg Jean Snow in Soda Springs, Idaho. Together they have five boys: Craig, Chad, Casey, Greg, and Mark. Roger and Margaret made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Roger worked as a eligibility examiner for The Department of Health & Welfare. In his private life, he loved playing golf. He also enjoyed his sobriety and helping others achieve sobriety. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Meg; sons, Craig (Stephanie) Morgan of Idaho Falls, ID, Chad Morgan of Shelley, ID, Casey (Jackie) Morgan of Stansbury, UT, Greg (Erica) Stephens of Twin Falls, ID, and Mark Stephens of Crouch, ID; brothers, Boyd Morgan of Burley, ID, Tom Morgan of Chubbuck, ID, and Curt (Debbie) Morgan of Rupert, ID; and sister, Connie (Mike) Johnstone of Meridan, ID.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Payton Morgan, and his parents.
A gathering will be held from 4-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Wood Funeral Home to help cover funeral costs.
