Ralph Kelly Ingram, 90, of Ammon, passed away October 24, 2021, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
Ralph was born October 17, 1931, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Edmund Merrit Ingram and Ora R. Kelly Ingram. Ralph was an identical twin to Robert Lee Ingram, something he was very proud of. Ralph and Bob were always there for each other. Both loving spending time fishing and hunting together. They were best friends for life. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Idaho State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Ralph owned and operated Ford’s Bar where strangers became family. To Ralph, everyone had a story to tell and he would listen with true interest. He loved his many friends and would always take the opportunity to spend time with them. He truly was the kindest, most generous man.
Ralph married Joanna Hansen and they were later divorced. Ralph met Sherry L. Jensen, who became his best friend and companion for life. They were married and made their home in Ammon, Idaho. Ralph and Sherry loved to travel together, with their yearly trips to Mexico being their favorite. They were each other’s favorite playmates. A simple drive with the dogs in the back seat and music playing while singing together was always a great day for them. Their love for each other was one of a kind. Sherry passed away in 2015.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, animals, and spending time with his family. Ralph’s love for his dogs was something to behold and wherever Ralph went, his dogs went too. He had a great heart and loved people and building relationships. Ralph was a wonderful father and friend to his children. He loved each one of us very deeply and was always there with an open heart for us. We are very blessed to have been able to call him dad.
Ralph is survived by his children, Laurie Speelmon of Ammon, ID, Lance Davis of Boise, ID, Matt (Cindy) Davis of Emmett, ID, Julie Hayes of Everett, WA, and Stacey (David) Roberts of Idaho Falls; 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Ora Ingram; wife, Sherry L. Ingram; brother, Kenneth Edmund Ingram; sisters, Marjorie Beck and Faye Davis; and his twin brother, Robert Ingram.
