Phil Arlan Plummer, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 7, 2023.
Phil was born September 28, 1962, in Santa Rosa, California. His parent were Harold Eugene Plummer and Audrey Nadine Weir Plummer. He grew up and attended schools in Goshen, Oregon, and graduated from Springfield High School. He also attended Portland State University where he earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Math and Physics.
On December 2, 1989, he married Sharon Jeanine Davis in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. They were later sealed in the Portland Temple on December 2, 1993. Phil and Sharon made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Phil worked in the insurance industry.
Phil was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was gifted in woodworking and especially talented in pen making. He also served as a volunteer in the Peace Corps.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Jeanine Plummer of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Ashley (Michael) Foulke of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Andrew (Olivia) Plummer of Idaho Falls, ID, and son, Alex (Mikayla) Plummer of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Greg Plummer of Cottage Grove, OR, and brother, Stacy (Brandy) Plummer of Pleasant Hill, OR; and 2 grandchildren, Kaiden and Isaac.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Randy.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Osgood Ward, 7940 North 35th West, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with Bishop Rocknak officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
