Paul Martin Briar, 27, passed on October 24, 2019, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He arrived May 25, 1992, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was the son of Kerry and Jamie Lee, brother of Tamarah and Chelsea, and uncle to Sunshyne Avalon.
As a baby, Paul's playful and adventurous spirit was immediately evident. He had a knack for cheering others up and always made people laugh.
As he grew, so did his caring and helpful nature. Paul would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger in need. He often gave his time freely and joyfully for the betterment of others and his community.
Everywhere he went, his jovial and compassionate spirit shined a light into the lives of all who knew him. He was always lending a hand, an ear, and a smile. He was a loyal and selfless friend.
Paul was a jack of most trades, working throughout his life as a sider, concrete cutter, painter, and industrial coater. He worked not only in Idaho but also in Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, and Texas. He put his best effort into every task that lay before him. He was a hardworking, dependable employee.
Paul took life head-on with a "go big or go home" attitude. He loved the outdoors, especially snowboarding, camping, hiking, fishing, longboarding/skateboarding, and ATV riding. He enjoyed being surrounded by close friends, good food, family, fun, love, happiness, and adventure.
He came to know the Lord through the Teen Challenge program in Spokane, Washington, and brought back the spirit of discipleship with him.
Paul's wishes to be an organ donor were fulfilled and his significant and generous gift gave promise of new life to three recipients.
His love will carry on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Paul was held on November 8, 2019, at Watersprings Church.
