Patricia Anne (Bingham) Decker

Patricia Anne Decker, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 2, 2022, at her home. She was under the care of loved ones and Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
 
Patricia was born September 2, 1938, in Burley, Idaho, to Woodrow Alma Bingham and Virginia Lucy Buck Bingham. She grew up and attended schools in many locations in the Twin Falls, Burley, and Jerome, Idaho areas. She graduated from Jerome High School. She briefly attended BYU in Provo, Utah, where she met her husband. She also attended Idaho State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
 
On August 29, 1958, she married Loral Alvin Decker in Idaho Falls. Patricia and Loral made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They built their house together out in a very rural area of Bonneville County. After raising most of her nine living children, Patricia decided that she would go back to school so she could become a nurse. Patricia worked as a registered nurse for Riverview Hospital and Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
 
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She participated in family history, Primary, and Relief Society. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, collecting porcelain dolls and making them, reading, and painting. Her joy was watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren learn and grow.
 
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Val) Judy of Shelley, ID; daughter, Diane Mudrow of Orem, UT; son, Brian (Jenny) Decker of Rigby, ID; daughter, Elaine Decker of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mike (Minerva) Decker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Susan (Paul) Browning of Portland, OR; son, Steve (Gina) Decker of Tijeras, NM; son, Rich (Janey) Decker of Bluffdale, UT; son, Joshua (Natalie) Decker of Abu Dubai, United Arab Emirates; brother, Lee (Marty) Bingham of Salmon, ID; sister, Dee (Sam) Gibson of Twin Falls, ID; 35 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant son, David Decker.
 
The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Osgood Ward Building, 7940 North 35th West in Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
