Nicole Renee Neilson

Nicole Neilson, 35, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2021, at her home. 

Nicole was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on August 13, 1985, to Sonia May Thompson and Kenneth Clark. She was raised in Ashton, Idaho, and attended high school there. She went on to marry Devin Matthews, and together they had two children: Kenyon Sage (15) and Kayleah Shantelle Matthews (12). They later divorced, and she later married Craig Neilson. They had one child, Mason Cole Neilson.

Nicole had a great passion for music–all music. She loved to dance and sing. She could write beautifully and created many amazing poems. She was also a known animal-lover. Nicole adored her children and family with all of her heart. She was a joy to all that knew her and had many lifelong friends of 30 years or more.

She is survived by her sister, Amber Lynn Gneiting; brothers, Brandon Gene Clark and Forrest Ray Whittington; husband, Craig Neilson; mother, Sonia Thompson; father, Kenneth Clark; children, Kenyon, Leah, and Mason; several aunts and uncles; cousins; and her grandmother, Samma Jean May.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2020, at the Ammon Cemetery.
