Millie Marie Meyer

Millie Marie Meyer, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 18, 2020, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation.

Millie was born August 14, 1943, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Albert Lavern Meyer and Elma Mildred Snowardt.  She grew up and attended schools in Murtaugh.  She attended EITC where she received a degree as a licenced practical nurse (LPN) in 1973.

Millie worked as a LPN for State Hospital South in Blackfoot for 23 years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Idaho Falls and was active in Agape.  She enjoyed pinochle, collecting antiques, including depression glass, and Scrabble. She certified in therapeutic humor. She was blessed to go to China with Patch Adam on a humanitarian trip.

Millie is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle (Lori Weltz) Perrenoud of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Wes (Dena) Taggart of California, MD; sister, Bonnie Bates-Wiseman of Soldotna, AK, brother, Alvin (Vivian) Meyer of Pocatello, ID; five grandsons and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Lavera Meyer, mother, Elma Mildred Meyer, brother, Melvin Meyer.

Services will be held at a later date.
