Michelle Wahl

Michelle Wahl, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 24, 2024.
 
Michelle was born August 30, 1966, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Merlin Joe Evens and Norma Gwen Schuldt. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, including O.E. Bell, Clair E Gale, Idaho Falls High School and Eastern Idaho Technical College.
 
On May 4, 2002, she married the love of her life Steven Lee Wahl in Idaho Falls. Michelle was an incredible wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and homemaker.
 
Michelle loved traveling and the outdoors, especially time spent fishing and camping. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and studying her family genealogy. She was an avid baseball fan, who loved cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She always had a special place in her heart for helping those in need. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dogs (Bailey, Shelby, Tucker, and Jovi).
 
Michelle is survived by her husband, Steven Lee Wahl of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Pamela Michelle Snooks of Idaho Falls, ID, Danielle Nicole (Jeff Oakes) Gardner of Idaho Falls, ID, and Trevor Cory (Courtney Baughn) Evens of WA; siblings, Terri (Kevin) Clapp of Idaho Falls, ID, Larry Todd (Nicole) Evens of Boise, ID, Kristi Dawn Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID, Geremy Carl (Dana) Schuldt of Idaho Falls, ID, and Gaylen Cary (Rachel) Schuldt of Idaho Falls, ID; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Evensiosky; and her grandparents.
 
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior.
