Michelle Olson

Michelle Olson, 47, of Blackfoot, passed away April 20, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice and her loving family.

Michelle was born February 2, 1976, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Rodney J. Olson and Bonnie Marie Burt Olson. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Cloverdale Elementary and Bonneville Junior High. She later earned her GED.

Michelle made her home in Blackfoot, Idaho, where she worked in customer service in the auto parts industry.

She loved animals, enjoyed bead work, riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, painting, reading, and her nieces and nephews.

Michelle is survived by her loving father, Rod (Bonnie) Olson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Heather (Don) Rondo of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Misty (James) Jones of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Donna (Chris) Andrus Cobb of MS.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Marie Olson; brother, Daniel J. Andrus; grandparents, A.C. (Corns) Olson, Ora Vaughn Olson, Walter Burt, and Joyce Burt; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Ririe LDS Church, 14061 North 130 East, in Ririe, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Snake River Animal Shelter, 3000 Lindsay Blvd, Idaho Falls, ID 83402.
