Melissa Lynn Neal

Melissa Lynn Neal, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 5, 2024.

Melissa was born March 12, 1969, in Fresno, California, to Kenneth Wayne Neal and Vicki Ellen Colbert Neal. She grew up and attended schools in Templeton and Paso Robles.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Morrow Bay/Templeton. She loved her Mustang and was a member of a Mustang car club. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, riding horses, fishing and going crabbing at night.

Melissa is survived by life partner, Glen Huerzeler; brother, Christopher D. (ShayLyn) Neal of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jackie (Gene Carpenter) Neal of Paisley, OR; sister, Trisha (Chuck) Schable of Hillsboro, OR; brother, Nicholas Neal of Shelton, WA; grandfather, Robert Colbert of Malibu, CA; and grandmother, Goldie Neal of Lemoore, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Vicki Neal; grandfather, Jack Neal; grandmother, Ava Wells; and uncle, David Colbert.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Ave, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow immediately in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
