Maxilyn Joy Facer, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 8, 2020, at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice and her second mom, Judy Haddon.
Maxilyn was born December 1, 1946, in Malad City, Idaho, to Cleone Thorpe Facer and Harriet Alice Gardner Facer. She grew up and attended the St. Leon Opportunity School and the Development Workshop and several other facilities in Idaho Falls.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended Special Needs Primary. She enjoyed singing, looking at her photo albums, interacting with people and going to Lagoon and leading music in Special Needs Primary.
Maxilyn is survived by her sisters, Karen (Lewis) Church of Sarasota Springs, UT, and Gaylene (Ron) George of Rigby, ID; and her second Mom & Dad, Judy & Brett Haddon and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Gayle Facer Greenhalgh and Teresa Ann Facer.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Grant-Central Cemetery, 165 North 3300 East, Rigby, Idaho. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
