Margaret “Marge” Oaks Morse Mulherin was born July 31, 1927, in Union Township, New Jersey, to William Russell Oaks and Minni Bucher. She had two sisters, Alice May Oaks and Edith Mary Oaks.
Marge graduated from Lambertville High School in 1946, in Lambertville, New Jersey. After graduation, she traveled to California and took a secretarial training program at Cerritos College and graduated in 1964. She started working for Pfizer in 1964 and retired in 1985.
Marge married James Eugene Morse in 1954 in San Diego, California, and helped raise his four sons, Kenny, Tommy, Don, and Ron. Between them, Marge had 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Marge became a widow in 1979.
Marge married Francis Thomas Mulherin in 1981. She became a step-mother to his three grown children, Ted, Doug, and Deborah (Mulherin) Seidentopp. From them, Marge had seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Marge and Frank spent their retirement traveling all over the United States and Canada. They lived in California, Arkansas, and Florida, and finally settled in Arizona. Frank passed away in 2018, and Marge stayed in Arizona for several more years. She moved to Idaho in July 2021, to live with her step-son, Ted.
Marge loved to watch golf and she enjoyed her conversations with her step-daughter-in-law, Pam Crandell and granddaughter Robin Crabtree, as well as her step-daughter, Deborah Siedentopp and granddaughter Toni Mulherin.
Marge will be dearly missed by all.
