Lori Ann Woolf-Arave was born on April 22, 1961, and passed away from natural causes on July 13, 2021.
Lori was the third of eleven children born to Ruth Baker Woolf and DeWayne Woolf. She found the love of her life, Brett Lafe Arave, at age 13, and married at age 15 on November 20, 1976. They enjoyed many rich years as soulmates where they would grow together and raise a family. Lori and Brett had four children—Jared, Brittney, Cindy, and Samantha.
Lori's beautiful smile and outgoing personality could light up a room or engage a stranger in any grocery store line. Her spirituality and strong sense of integrity and compassion for others made her a champion of the underdog. The shirt off her back would be yours, should you dare to pay her a compliment on it. Lori embodied the spirit of giving. Lori enjoyed a love of nature. She spent her time in creation, connecting with mountains and landscape through painting and wandering, or in gardening.
Lori has departed from this world to another, but her spirit has been memorialized in her family who share in her love of nature, family, and art.
Lori is survived by her husband, Brett Arave; her children, Jared Arave (Dannielle), Brittney Baker (Matthew), Cindy Bolinder (Glenn), and Samantha Arave (Clay Holloway); grandchildren, Nyckolas and Nathan Bolinder, Mason; Charlice and Jaxon Baker; Michael Ferrin and Cora Torres; Kennedy Holloway; and her siblings.
