Linda Lee Ford, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 23, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of Solace Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Linda was born April 20, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Glen Edward Schenck and Ethel Stanger Schenck. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
On November 8, 1973, she married Vern Danial Ford in Idaho Falls. Linda and Vern made their home in Idaho Falls. Linda began working at First Federal in 1983 before the name change to Washington Federal. She retired in 2012 as the Customer Care Supervisor.
She loved her job, her co-workers, and her customers. She especially loved her family. Besides her husband, children, and sister, she loved her nieces and nephews: Tracy, Dina, Greg, Amanda, Adam, Angel, and Brittany, and their children. She had a huge heart and always gave of herself to all, never thinking of herself. She will be truly missed.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Vern Ford of Idaho Falls, ID; seven children, Ronda Lee (Robin) Ford of Snohomish, WA, Cindy Ann (Jason) Shelton Forman of Idaho Falls, ID, Morrica Chambers of Salt Lake City, UT, Vern (Debbie) Ford of Idaho Falls, ID, Nancy Chambers of Pocatello, ID, Linda Henze of Idaho Falls, ID, Michael Chambers of Idaho Falls, ID; and a sister, Glenna Schenck (Emile) Bruan of AZ; 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward (Eddy) Schenck; and a sister, Sonja Casper.
