Keith Wallace Ferguson, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 26, 2023, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
Keith was born December 22, 1947, in Idaho City, Idaho, to Chester Wallace Ferguson and Vivian Lorraine Washburn Ferguson. He grew up in Hermiston, Oregon, until he was eight years old. He moved to Idaho Falls where he continued his education through high school. Following high school, he joined the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
On November 14, 1969, he married Debby Jones in Idaho Falls. Keith and Debby made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Keith worked as a boiler operator, tire salesman, HVAC technician, and horseman.
Keith was a member of Water Springs Church. He was a car enthusiast and belonged to the Classic Cars Club of Idaho Falls. He owned a 56 Chevy BelAir and a 32 Ford Coupe. He was a cowboy who loved snowmobiling, motorbiking, camping, and riding his Harley. He was a Jack-of-All-Trades and could do anything using bailing twine and duct tape.
Keith is survived by his daughters, Mindy (Curtis) Christiansen of Idaho Falls, ID and Brandy (Mike) Gilea of Chubbuck, ID; grandchildren, Terry (Andie) and Nikole (Brian); great granddaughters, Maggie and Paizlie; sisters, Marilyn (Shuichi - deceased) Somenichi of Idaho Falls, ID and Karen (Paul - deceased) Waggoner of Idaho Falls, ID; sister-cousins, Kathy (Steve - deceased) Babbit of Idaho Falls, ID and Cindy (Steve) Owens of Island Park, ID; brothers by choice, Alan (Nan) Heilman of Weston, OR and Hal (Deb) Tobin of Idaho Falls, ID; his best four-legged friend, Scruffy; and many friends whom he considered family.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Debby; his parents; a sister; aunts; uncles; best friends, Dale Rowbury and Mutt.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior. Inurnment will follow at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and the Navy Honor Guard.
A light lunch will follow the service.
