Kathy Lynne (Buttars) Mcbride

Kathy Lynne McBride, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 8, 2023, at her home.

Kat was born November 18, 1951, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Harold James Buttars and Dorothy Joan Beal Walker. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon, Idaho, and graduated from Bonneville High School. She also attended Link Business College in Boise, Idaho.

On March 10, 1973, she married Warren Martin McBride in Idaho Falls. They later divorced. Kat made her home in Idaho Falls where she worked as an administrative clerk for Bonneville County for 30 years. She enjoyed beading, arts and crafts, and cross-stitching.

Kat is survived by her loving son, Jon Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Dorothy Walker; sister, Lorna (Larry) Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Carol (Dean) Fullmer of Menan, ID; sister, Marcie J. Tarbet of Seattle, WA; brother, Kenny (Shelly) Buttars of Shelly, ID; and brother, Mark Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Buttars.
