Jennifer Darlene (Bürger) Taggart, 62, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Temple View Transitional Center in Rexburg, Idaho, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born September 3, 1957, in Missoula, Montana, to Jack and Darlene Bürger. She attended school in Missoula, graduating from Hellgate High School.
Jennifer lived in Shelley, Idaho, the majority of her later years and often had a full house with her sons and their friends. She never met a person she didn’t like and offered unconditional love to all who were fortunate to know her. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and cherished family gatherings. She was an excellent cook and an expert dart player, winning several tournaments and awards. She could find the humor in just about anything and was rarely seen without a smile on her face.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her beloved brother, Jack. She is survived by her two sons, Brandon (Nikki) Burke and Ryan (Brenda) Burke; her grandchildren, Quin, Christian, Israel, Celene, Juleece, Isaac, and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Jay, Sophia, Xavier, and Sylus. She also leaves behind her sisters, Linda Andersen, Lorrie Hegel, and Andrea Edwards; brothers, John Bürger and David West; and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
