Jacqui was one of the greatest blessings when I came to work with her at Stuart Elementary. I have never met a more kind and gracious lady as Jacqui was.  She had a unique way of making you feel loved and important, while at the same time making you laugh and love life.  The children that she touched through her years of service at Stuart are countless.  My heart aches for her family that her time on earth was cut short.  I bet she was the classiest Grammy ever!

It is hard for me to even comprehend that this woman is gone from the planet. She is larger than life! Jacqui is who I want to be when I grow up. She is witty and playful, but so very wise. Her kindness never ceased to amaze me. She could approach every situation with kindness and empathy when I would think that sometimes  the human side of her was probably brassed off, but she was too good to let that show. She had a great sense of humor, and just a great style. She was classy 100 percent of the time.
We are planning to celebrate Jacqui every March with a "St,Jacqui's day party." We will wear our Hawaiian shirts and write kind notes with colorful pens and eat Hula Pie like you can get at Dukes. Then we will read an Irish Blessing and vow to live life like Jacqui McGarry Walbom did!  Till we meet again! Praying for peace for all of the family.
