Jack A. Caldwell, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 16, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was under the care of Aspen Hospice and his loving family.
Jack was born March 15, 1941, in Rupert, Idaho, to Ashel Elmer Caldwell and Nedra Hammond Caldwell. He grew up and attended schools in Rupert, and graduated from Minidoka County High School. He also attended Ricks College, ITEC, and University of Idaho.
On August 18, 1961, he married Sharon Margret Culley in Rupert, Idaho. Jack and Sharon made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Jack worked in management for InterMountain Gas Company.
He was a member of the Eastern Idaho Chariot Association, Lions Club, and Idaho Falls Rotary Club. He enjoyed Nascar, football, classic cars, and spending time working with the McGarry's on their ranch.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Caldwell of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, SharaLee Dupplessis of Idaho Falls, ID, Lisa Monroe of Idaho Falls, ID; and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry Caldwell and Louie Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Pastor Gordon Boyle officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior at the funeral home. Burial and graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Rupert Cemetery.
