Isaac Shane Rudolph

Isaac Shane Rudolph, 16, of Idaho Falls, left us February 25, 2024.

Isaac was born March 20, 2007, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Scott Shane Rudolph and Gayle Stephens Rudolph. He attended schools in Bonneville School District and was currently attending Technical Careers High School in Idaho Falls with a focus on welding and auto mechanics.

Isaac's vivacious zest for learning and infectious smile were undeniable. There wasn't much he would not try, and there was no mountain he could not conquer. His love for nature was evident as he enjoyed camping, hunting, and numerous outdoor activities with his family. Isaac loved to work with his hands, and there was rarely a time Isaac wasn't fidgeting with something to build or fix.

Isaac's gentle soul led him to a love for music, inspiring him to jam on the guitar, and in turn wail on the drums. His taste in music was exquisite, and he was well-versed in his musical preference, which crossed the span of many generations, varying from Waylon Jennings to Colter Wall, and occasionally "angry man music," which included Metallica and Five Finger Death Punch. His interest in music was influenced by both grandfathers and was often experienced by his family intimately and lovingly at the family's favorite spot in Gibbonsville.

Isaac loved to make those around him laugh and went to great lengths to do so whenever possible. Isaac was so photogenic, continually posing for the camera, throwing all caution to the wind whether he looked silly or not, all with the goal of earning a smile. Isaac's ability to bring tremendous joy to those around him was incomparable. Those who experienced his infectious laugh are better people for it.

Isaac will live on in the eyes and the hearts of those who loved him forever until he is met with the same equated joy experienced when he arrived on this earth. There is no greater love than that of a parent's love for their child, and Isaac was an exemplary son and spirit. We are blessed to call him our own.

Isaac is survived by his parents, Scott and Gayle Rudolph of Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandparents, Shane and Peggy Rudolph of Pocatello, Idaho; grandparents, Michael and Rhea Stephens of Shelley, Idaho; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles who are a tremendous part of his life.

Isaac was preceded in death by his brother, Kristopher.
