IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Harold LeRoy Rowberry, 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 19, 2010, at Life Care Center.
Harold was born August 5, 1914, in Iona, Idaho, to Harold E. Rowberry and Della Armstrong Rowberry. He attended local schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
He married Alta Virginia Clark on October 11, 1947, in Lyman, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Idaho Falls where they raised their family. There have been many other “children”welcomed as part of their home, both long and short term, whenever the need arose. He worked as a yard master and switchman on the Union Pacific Railroad. Alta preceded him in death on October 16, 2000.
Harold married Rita Beth Hoffman Hoyle on June 19, 2002, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They made their home in Idaho Falls.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a High Priest and in many other callings, his favorite being Home Teacher. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, snowmobiling, and attending all sporting events of his children and grandchildren.

Son: Mike (Colleen) Hoyle, Driggs, ID
Daughter: Shannon (Wade) Nielson, Meridian, ID
Son: Tim Hoyle, Idaho Falls, ID

37 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great, Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alta; sons Frank and Larry; son-in-law, Lee Munson; brothers, Max Rowberry, Dick Rowberry, Don Rowberry; and sister, Dora Ohme.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Ammon LDS 26th Ward, 1100 South Tiebreaker, with Bishop Rodney Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and from 12 to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
