Gwendolyn “Gwen” Diane Edwards Wickham, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 4, 2020, at her home. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice.
Gwendolyn was born August 24, 1948, in Oakland, California, to Damon Barrett Edwards and Charlotte Caroline Lee Edwards. She grew up and attended schools in central and northern California and graduated from Dinuba High School. She also attended Utah State University.
On December 19, 1969, she married Blaine Dee Wickham in Logan, Utah. Gwendolyn and Blaine made their home in Washington, California, and Utah, before moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Gwendolyn was a homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully fulfilled her ministering assignment for as long as she was able. She enjoyed sewing and making things for family and friends. She was great at all crafts. She loved having her grandkids around her.
Gwendolyn is survived by her loving husband, Blaine Wickham of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Charity (Josh Rausch) Wickham of Idaho Falls, ID, Rachel (Dale) Veroneau of Shoshone, ID, Keilah Wickham of Shoshone, ID, Anna Lee (Jay) Best of Salt Lake City, UT; and sons, Blaine (Rose) Wickham, II of Cheney, WA, and Matthew (Dorothy) Wickham of Poulsbo, WA; sisters, Charlotte Hart of Brentwood, CA, Sandra "Sandy" (Steve) Richards of Springville, UT, Melody (Steve) Perkins of Auburn, WA, Gaye (Steve) Hilliard of Springville, UT; brother, Damon "Barry" (Rolayne) Edwards, III of Highland, UT; nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Candy Averett, and Penny Weiss.
