Elva Mae Dalton, 90, passed away, June 9, 2021 at her home at Lincoln Court Assisted Living Center. She was born August 21, 1930 to William Lavern Bowcutt and Rhoda Mae Loveland Bowcutt in Iona. She attended schools in Iona . Her love of reading helped her continue her education. She met the love of her life, Jack Booth Dalton and they married on July 27, 1946 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later sealed for eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple in September of 1968 . Together they had six children. She was a devoted mother that helped raise her own children as well as her siblings. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked in the cannery and temple as long as her health permitted. She was always faithful to the Lord and the teachings of the church
She is survived by her son, Jack E. (Susan) Dalton of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Gloria C. Seal of Boise, ID ; Son, William J. (Jim) (Laurette) Dalton of Ucon, ID ; Daughter in law, Shar Dalton of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Barbara Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID ; Daughter, Catherine (Mark) Reyes of White City, OR; Adopted daughter, Bobbi Olson of KY; Brother in law, Peter Kilinski of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Jim Larkin of CA ; Brother, Mike Bowcutt of WA; 17 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack., son, Terry L. Dalton, her brothers, Roy, William Jr., Boyd, Wayne, and sisters, Donna Lou Stucki, Viola Joyce Kiliniski.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m.,Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Grant Central Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:30 pm prior at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Av.)
