Dionne Moser Pickett, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2022, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
Dionne was born November 22, 1971, in Logan, Utah, to Dennis Joseph Moser and Della Foster Moser. She grew up and attended schools in Preston, Idaho, and graduated from Preston High School. She also attended Ricks College and Eastern Idaho Technical College where she received her degree in Nursing.
On December 14, 1990, she married Michael Scott Pickett in the Logan, Utah Temple. Dionne and Mike made their home in Idaho Falls where they raised their children, Cody, Caden, Carson, Cameron, Connor, and Courtney. Dionne and Mike were later divorced. Dionne loved being a nurse and had the heart for it. Her life’s calling was to care for other people. Dionne then met Michael Hillman of Shelley, Idaho, and gained five more children, Jacob, Taylor, Brandon, Sierra, and Cailey. She loved having such a huge family.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed shopping, home renovations/decorating, camping, jeeping, traveling, inappropriate humor, family gatherings, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Dionne is survived by her children, Cody (Emily) Pickett of Idaho Falls, Caden (Heidi Vela) Pickett of Idaho Falls, Carson Pickett of Idaho Falls, Cameron Pickett of Idaho Falls, Connor Pickett of Idaho Falls, Courtney Pickett of Idaho Falls, Jacob Hillman of Jackson, WY, Taylor (Chelse) Hillman of Idaho Falls, Brandon Hillman of Idaho Falls, Sierra (Dennis) Gifford of Idaho Falls, Cailey Hillman of Idaho Falls; husband, Mike Hillman of Idaho Falls; sister, Diane Moser of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, David (Tami) Moser of Preston, ID; and 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Della Moser, and sister, Debbie Tompkins.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Idaho Falls Brookview Ward, 1925 East 49th South, with Bishop Harris officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
