Cristian Figueroa

Cristian Figueroa Guevara, 28, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 8, 2023, at his home. He was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Cristian was born May 31, 1994, in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico, to Agustin Figueroa Reyes and Mariana Guevara Vazquez. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Vogue Beauty College.

Cristian made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Cristian worked as a cosmetologist for Diamond Salon.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing tennis, going to the gym, dressing up, and making new friends. His favorite music was RBD, Belinda. Lady Gaga, and all pop music.

Cristian is survived by  loving mother, Mariana Guevara Vasquez of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Agustin Figueroa Reyes of Puebla, Mexico; sisters, Alejandra Gutierrez, Monica Gutierrez, and Veronica Gutierrez; and step-dad, Gerardo Gutierrez.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Alvina Tobon Martinez, his uncle, Raul Vazquez Baltazar, and his aunt, Virginia Guadalupe Sanchez Vazquez.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 905 S. Lee in Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
