Chuck Forshee Jr.

Charles Patrick William “Chuck” Forshee Jr., 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 13, 2020. 

Chuck was born August 31, 1962, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Charles Patrick William Forshee Sr. and Ellen Marie Esser Forshee. He grew up and attended schools in Castlebury, Florida, and graduated from Edgewater High School. He also attended the University of Idaho where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology.

On August 20, 1983, he married Paula Frickey in Idaho Falls. Together, Chuck and Paula raised four boys and later divorced in 1998. He served in the United States Navy from 1981-1990 as a Machinist Mate First Class. He had a long and successful career with the Idaho National Laboratory.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Chuck was a great friend and amazing father. He was someone that anyone could turn to for help or advice and he always put others first. 

Chuck is survived by his loving sons, Christopher (Jennifer) Forshee of Pocatello, ID, David (Halee) Forshee of Beaverton, OR, Nicholas Forshee of Idaho Falls, and Levi Forshee of Idaho Falls; brothers, Joseph (Margie) Forshee of Maitland, FL, and Robert (Amy) Forshee of Lake Mary, FL; and sister, Valerie Boldt of DeBary, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
