Byron Anderson

Byron R. Anderson, 68, of Idaho Falls passed away, May 6, 2012 at his home from a lingering illness. He was born January 17, 1944 in Thornton, Idaho to William Rush Anderson and Ramona Hart Anderson. He attended Madison High School, Ricks College and Idaho State University. Byron was a Quality Control Engineer at the INL and an Environmental Engineer. He later retired. He married Jolene Jensen Anderson on May 8, 1964 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They raised their three sons Blake, Brady and Bryan in Idaho Falls. Byron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as the Ward Clerk. He enjoyed gardening, photography and reading. Byron is survived by his wife, Jolene of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Blake Delbert Anderson of Brigham City, UT; Son, Brady Rush (Ulla) Anderson of Turku, Finland; Son, Bryan Jay (Mandy) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Dwight (Patricia) Anderson of Sandy, UT; Brother, Charles Kevin (Mala) Anderson of Rexburg, ID; Brother, Wade (Vicki) Anderson of Thornton, ID; Brother, Wynn (Arlene) Anderson of Rexburg, ID; Five grandchildren, Julia, Alyssa, Nathan of Idaho Falls, Patrick and Ursula of Turku, Finland He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter Sabine Anderson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10 at the Kearney 1st Ward (1860 Kearney) with Bishop Greg Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends 7:00-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Wood Funeral Home East side Chapel (963 S. Ammon Rd.) and from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.

Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 1st Ward

The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
