Bonnie L Borgstrom, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 30, 2022.

Bonnie was born June 8, 1933, in Drumright, Oklahoma. She was the fourth of six children, born to Grace and Marvin Bateman. She attended school in Drumright, Oklahoma and graduated from Drumright High School in 1951. She then went to Central Christian College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Abilene Christian College in Abilene, Texas; and Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she met and married Richard Borgstrom.

One of her proudest accomplishments was completing her college degree at Oklahoma State University in 1971. She attended her college graduation and her high school 20 year class reunion in the same week.

She had five children, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. As an army wife she lived in several places including Fort Polk, Louisiana; Budingen, Germany; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; and Fort Knox, Kentucky. Later she lived in Princeton, Kentucky; Drumright, Oklahoma; Gallup, New Mexico; and moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho in 2016 when she retired from teaching.

Her working career included: telephone operator, Tupperware consultant, Cato Fashions store owner, church secretary, and teacher. She always enjoyed working, but her favorite job was being a mom and Nana. Cooking, sewing, and crafts were things she kept busy doing. There was always a project near her chair. Her favorite thing to do was something for someone else.

She was a long time faithful member of the Church of Christ. She loved God, the church, her family, and other people. She was truly a selfless servant.

Bonnie is survived by her loving daughter, Barb (Harry) DeLong, son, Randal Keith Borgstom of Casselberry, FL, son, John Scott (Valerie) Borgstrom of Stillwater, OK, daughter, Ruth Elaine Baldwin of Fort Pierce, FL, brother, James Dale (Judy) Bateman.
