Amy Louise Pratt, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 25, 2020, at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
Amy was born March 18, 1970, in Anaheim, California, to Stephen Rhodehamel and Maryann Rhodehamel. She grew up and attended schools in Reno, Nevada, moved to Boise, Idaho, and graduated from Capital High School. She went on to work at V.A. Hospital.
On July 3, 2014, Amy married Mark Christopher Pratt in Idaho Falls. She also raised three boys: Randy, James, and Kalvin. She and Mark lived in Idaho Falls where Amy worked as a lunch lady and bus driver.
Amy was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. There she worked as a school lunch lady and enjoyed seeing her son who attends school there. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, and politics. She was particularly passionate about Medicaid expansion, and she received the second highest amount of signatures in Idaho on the petition for it.
Amy is survived by her loving husband, Mark, of Idaho Falls, ID; her parents, Stephen and Maryann Rhodehamel of Boise, ID; parents-in-law, Jack and Carolyn Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID; sons, Randy (Karrissa) Kerr of Boise, ID, James Anthony Pratt of Idaho Falls, ID, and Kalvin Keily Parker of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Julie Angel of Boise, ID, and Crystal Peterson of Studio City, CA; brothers, Gabriel Rhodehamel of Boise, ID, Michael Pratt of Port Orchard, WA, and David (Melissa) Pratt of Edmonds, WA; 2 grandchildren, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hayzlee Lynn Louise.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the months to come.
