Alicia Soto, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 19, 2023.

Alicia was born May 17, 1954, in Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jose  Soto and Indalesia Gonzalez De Soto. She grew up and attended schools in Rancho el Durazno, Yahualicia, Jalisco, and moved to California in 1972. She later moved to Idaho in 1992. Alicia was a hard worker who dedicated her life to raising her children. She believed the key to success was education.

Alicia was a Christian, and she loved reading her Bible.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She had many talents and hobbies. She was especially gifted in gardening and making homemade cheese. We all loved her homemade cheese! She was an active person that loved walking, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. On her down time, she loved watching 80s and 90s action movies.

Alicia is survived by her daughter, Rocio (Daniel) Brown of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Alonzo (Shalese) Tejeda of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Armando Tejeda of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Alfredo Tejeda of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Rosa Maria Flores of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Irene Soto of Sonora, Mexico, brother, Jesus Soto of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Porfirio Soto of Jalisco, Mexico, brother, Alfredo Soto of Boise, ID, brother, Ruben Soto of Jaliso, Mexico, brother, Antonio Soto of Jalisco, Mexico, brother, Ignacio Soto of Jalisco, Mexico, granddaughter, Briana S William, grandson, Miles Enrique Cook, grandson, David Tejeda, grandson, Aiden E Flores, grandson, Evan D Flores, granddaughter, Isabel Sophia Brown, granddaughter, Kennedy A Tejeda, great-granddaughter, Saige Anderson, great-grandson, Milo Williams, and great-granddaughter, Sonora Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Guadalupe Soto, brother, Martin Soto, brother, Salvador Soto, and sister, Maria Soto.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Fielding Memorial Park.
