Zola Denning

ZOLA DENNING IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Zola Irma Denning, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 3, 2007, at Idaho Falls Health & Rehab of causes incident to age. She was born November 29, 1916, in Lund, Idaho, to Erastus Snow Hansen and Mary Sophia Jensen Hansen. She grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area. She married Manuel Denning August 17, 1936, in Ammon. She was a homemaker and mother. Manuel preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Zola enjoyed embroidery, latch hook, crossword puzzles, card games, camping, and family activities. Survivors include: Daughter: Janice (Cecil) Perez, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Dell (Jackie) Denning, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Gwen (J. R.) Stevens, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Juel (Ace) Campbell, Twin Falls, ID Son: Dennis Denning, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Gail Soliday, Iona, ID Son: Phillip (Rosemarie) Denning, Twin Falls, ID Daughter: Irma (Howard) Cornwall, Pocatello, ID Daughter: Lois (Wendell) Dunn, Rupert, ID Daughter: Carol (Robert) Denham, American Falls, ID 37 Grandchildren, 9 Step Grandchildren, 74 Great Grandchildren, 27 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, three sisters, a son, a stepson, two granddaughters, two grandsons, two great granddaughters, and two step grandsons. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Idaho Falls LDS Lincoln 1st Ward, 3700 East Lincoln Road, with Bishop Chris Brown officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
