Zina Martin

Ina “Zina” Anderson Berry Martin, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 5, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Zina was born March 9, 1926, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Lyle Marion Anderson and Hattie Beulah Singley Anderson. She graduated from Ammon High School. Zina married Don C. Berry on October 16, 1945. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 12, 1965. Zina worked for Mountain Bell Telephone for nearly 28 years, retiring in 1982. Don preceded her in death on November 5, 1988. She married Leonard Martin on August 21, 1993. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1999. Zina was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, including Relief Society secretary, Primary secretary, and as a temple worker. Zina enjoyed reading, crocheting, camping, drawing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughter: Brenda (Ron) Poole, Menan, ID Daughter: Pauline (Larry) Jackson, Rigby, ID Daughter: Judy (Richard) Dugger, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Dona Jeanne (Jeff) Burgie, Menan, ID Son: Don Randall Berry, Menan, ID Daughter: Jolene Gregory, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Terrill Clinton (Lana) Berry, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Rhonda Ryan, Iona, ID Son: Michael Erwin Berry, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Lyle R. (Ruth) Anderson Sister: Darlene (Garry)Tolley 40 grandchildren, 103 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Services

Thursday December 9, 2010 , 11:00 a.m. at Idaho Falls LDS 11th Ward

The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Iona Cemetery.
