Yvonne Shields

Yvonne Ester Shields, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 26, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Yvonne was born February 1, 1956, in West Covina, California, to Charles Robert Lee and Alice Vanola Schills Lee. She grew up and attended schools in West Covina and attended Chaffie High School.

On January 23, 1975, she married JR L. Shields in Idaho Falls. To this union were born three children, Cody, Brent, and Star. Yvonne and JR made their home in Idaho Falls, where Yvonne was a loving wife and mother.

Yvonne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed watching TV, working on puzzles, and picking on her family.

Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, JR Shields of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Cody Robert Shields of Idaho Falls, ID; Brent Lee Shields of Idaho Falls, ID; Star May Johnson of West Valley, UT; sisters: Sandra and Eve and 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Smith.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
