Yvonne "Bonna" Johnson - 08/17/2002 Yvonne "Bonna" Johnson - 08/17/2002 BONNA JOHNSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Yvonne “Bonna” Ballard Johnson passed away August 14, 2002 in Santa Rosa, California after a short illness. She was born July 25, 1934 in Idaho Falls to George Arthur “Judd” Ballard and Fontella Miller Phillips Ballard. She grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. Before she retired, Bonna was a dedicated secretary/bookkeeper for over 45 years, mostly in the construction industry. Bonna was a devoted mother and grandmother of Katie, Shawn, Ryan, Tyce, Brittney and Ronson, and much loved mother-in-law and friend to Dana, Sheryl, Lisa and DeAnn, so her favorite times were those spent surrounded by her family. She also enjoyed dancing and traveling with her husband, and getting together with friends. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Monday, both at Wood East Side Chapel.
