Yonnie Tabbytite

Yonnie Marie Tabbytite, 36, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 14, 2017, at her home.

She was born November 20, 1980, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Bert Hoover Tabbytite and Lois Mary Arthur Tabbytite. The family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she attended West High School. She later joined the Job Corp and worked in Nampa, Idaho. She also worked for several years in the Food Service industry.

Yonnie enjoyed scrapbooking, watching and collecting movies, reading, and writing. She also loved fashion, enjoyed clothing and makeup.

Yonnie is survived by her father, Bert Hoover Tabbytite, Jr. of Pocatello, ID; mother, Lois Mary Arthur of Pocatello, ID; son, Asánte Monticello Tabbytite; of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Annalena (Jeremy) Maddox of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Kwaina Tabbytite of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Roseanna (Michael) Mendez of Fort Hall, ID; brother, Michael Tabbytite of Fort Hall, ID; brother, Stormy (Angel) Tabbytite, Sr. of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Lavina (Chance) Williams of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Russell (Oshaleh) Arthur of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Kinsella Orr of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Karen Sanchez of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mary Elsie Arthur, William Arthur, Sr., Bert Tabbytite, Sr., and Leatrice Peawardy.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Crosspoint Community Church, 1900 Grandview Drive, with Bob Sherwood officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
