Yale Harlan Christensen, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 2, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Yale was born January 20, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Yale H. Christensen and Fern Oler Christensen. He grew up and attended school in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School. He served in the United States Army Reserve.

Yale made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a blaster for Eagle Rock Blasting. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, trapping, gardening, firearms, and competitive shooting. He was a talented photographer and film maker. He filmed the breaking of the Teton Dam.

Yale is survived by his daughter, Trisha (Ed Lee) Christensen of Lewisville, ID; son, Harlan Ken Christensen of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, JoAnne (Keith) Lueke of Oklahoma City, OK; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sisters, Dianne Corbin and Deanna Rogers.
