Wrena Johnson

Wrena Lucille Theobald Johnson, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 4, 2013 surrounded by her family at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Wrena was born July 18, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Arthur Winford Theobald and Mildred Lucille Charlesworth. She grew up in Shelley, where she attended area schools and graduated from Shelley High School in 1961. On February 14, 1962, she married David LeRoy “Roy” Johnson in Shelley, Idaho. Together they farmed and raised their three children until they moved to Idaho Falls in 2005. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crafts, decorating, reading, cooking, serving others and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include her Husband: Roy Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Lori Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; Son: Kelly (Rauna) Johnson of Ogden, UT; Daughter: Kimberly (Marty) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Ina (Winn) Christensen of Shelly, Idaho; Sister in-law: Irene Theobald of Ammon, ID; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers; Cloy, Dee and Garn. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Avenue) with Ron Flitton officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family would like to thank everyone who has provided health and support during Wrena’s struggle.
