WILMA I. HUMPHERYS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Wilma Isabel Humpherys, 83, of Idaho
Falls, died May 9, 2004, at her home.
She was born August 8, 1920 in Hooper, Utah, to William
Taylor and Gertrude Hayes Taylor. She attended school in the area.
She married Robert Thomas Humpherys on January 5, 1939
in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Her husband died August 18, 2003. She worked
at Idaho Falls LDS Nursing Home.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter- day Saints. She was a Primary teacher, Special Needs Primary
teacher, Relief Society teacher and held two Stake positions. She loved
quilting, crocheting and raising Pomeranian puppies. She was an excellent
mother and very devoted grandmother.

Daughter: Verna Mae (LaMont) Thorngren, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: John Taylor, Basalt, ID
Brother: Claude Taylor, Phoenix, AZ
Sister: Adreane Jensen, Blackfoot, ID
Sister: Deloris Bedwell, Roberts, ID
19 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Mildred Wadsworth and
4 brothers, Virgil Taylor,
Chuck Taylor, Bobby Taylor, and Junior Taylor.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May
13, 2004 at the Ammon LDS 6th Ward (2945 Selway), with Cam Payne, First
Counselor in the Bishopric, officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 7
to 8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side Chapel (963 S. Ammon Rd.) and for one hour
prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
