WILLIS L. HOWELL
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Willis Lyle Howell, 59, of Idaho Falls,
died November 17, 2003, at his home.
He was born on September 19, 1944 at Norton, Kansas to
Hazel “Red” Harold Howell and Golda Marston Howell. He attended
schools and graduated from high school in Parma, Idaho. Following high
school, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he earned his Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Psychology through University of Maryland. He served during
the Vietnam War.
On August 8, 1988, he married Lynn Bradfield in Winnemucca,
Nevada. He retired from military service in 1987 as a Senior Master Sergeant.
He later retired as a manager from Sam’s Club in Idaho Falls. He
was an avid fisherman and gardener.

Son: Steven Howell, San Jose, CA (serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq)

Brother: Marvin (Marlene) Howell, Kennewick, WA
Brother: Jerry Ross, Ontario, OR
Brother: Harold Howell, NE
Brother: Garrell Howell, NE
Sister: Idonna McMains, NE
Sister: Ardell Knizek, NE
7 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will meet with friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday,
November 19, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls,
Idaho.
Burial will at 3 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Payette,
Idaho on Friday, November 21, 2003.
The family will meet with friends Friday at 2 p.m. prior to the burial
at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel (112 North 9th Street) 208-642-3333. Military
Rites will be performed by the Veterans of Foreign War.
