William "Bill" Sturgeon - 02/06/2002 William "Bill" Sturgeon - 02/06/2002 WILLIAM "BILL" STURGEON IDAHO FALLS, ID: William “Bill” Sturgeon, 70, of Idaho Falls, died February 5, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1931, at San Antonio, Texas, to William Sturgeon and Teresa Peres Sturgeon. He spent his early years in Eagle Pass, Texas, where he attended school. The family then relocated to Idaho Falls, where he has lived ever since. He married Lupe Aguirre October 11, 1952 in Idaho Falls. He did farm work for twenty years, then was a partner in a potato warehouse and a bar. At the time of his death he was working as foreman and mechanic for Idaho Asphalt Maintenance. He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, boating, working in his garden, and spending time with his family. A sincere gratitude is extended to each and every person who touched Grandpa’s heart. He had a special helping hand or kind word for all who knew him. Every visit, gesture or phone call brightened his day to the fullest. Take joy in knowing that he knew he was loved by all who knew him. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home.
